What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift is a nonsurgical approach to eliminating the signs of aging in your face. The procedure improves facial contouring, rejuvenates your face, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

To achieve the results you want, your provider uses a variety of techniques.

Sanctuary Cosmetic Center uses dermal fillers, such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, Bellafill®, and Sculptra®, for your liquid facelift. The practice also uses neuromodulators such as Botox® and Dysport®.

Other nonsurgical techniques used include microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and the Vampire Facelift®. 

Is a liquid facelift a good option for me?

Sanctuary Cosmetic Center only recommends the procedure if you’re 30 or older. Depending on the type of filler recommended for you, your provider can lift your brows, plump your lips, give you a cheek augmentation, or provide your entire face with an overall rejuvenation.

If you’re older, you might require more products with a multi-plan approach. Your provider tailors treatments to your personal needs based on your age and aesthetic goals.

What are the benefits of a liquid facelift?

The advantages of a liquid facelift include:

• Doesn’t require anesthesia
• Lifts sagging excess skin in the face and neck
• Fills hollow, sunken, deflated areas around the lower lids
• Fills the apples of the cheeks, temples, lips, and upper eyelids
• Requires little to no downtime

A liquid facelift especially benefits you if you’re a professional who doesn’t have much down time for procedures. It’s also helpful if your body can’t tolerate anesthesia.

You might experience mild bruising and swelling, but side effects subside within a few days. Depending on the technique used, most results last 10-18 months.

What should I expect during a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift only takes about 30 minutes. Your provider applies a topical anesthetic before treatment begins to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. 

Most dermal filler products have lidocaine in them to help reduce any discomfort during the injections, which are delivered in a quick and precise fashion. In most cases, results are visible immediately, which allows your provider to evaluate and make adjustments if needed.
