The Buccal Fat Removal Procedure
Buccal fat removal can be performed with local anesthesia and sedation. Dr. Rostami places incisions inside the mouth so there are no visible signs of surgery. Once the incisions are made, she can remove the fat pads through these incisions before closing them with sutures. Afterward, you can return home to recover.
