To find out if you’re a good candidate for breast augmentation, your provider will discuss your medical history and desired outcome. They’ll also complete a physical exam.

The Breast Augmentation Procedure
To get ready for breast augmentation, follow your pre-surgery instructions. You’ll meet with the Sanctuary Cosmetic Center team to choose the type and size of breast implants you desire. Avoid taking certain medications before surgery if your surgeon recommends it, and don’t smoke. Avoid foods and drinks on the morning of surgery.
Just before breast augmentation, you’ll receive general anesthesia, so you’re asleep during the procedure. Your surgeon will make an incision at the curve of your areola or along the lower fold of your breast. They’ll gently insert breast implants and close the incision.
During autologous fat transfer, your surgeon will complete liposuction in other areas of your body and inject the fat into your breasts. After breast augmentation, you’ll recover in a separate room before returning home to recover.

Breast Augmentation Results
Complete recovery after breast augmentation often takes about 7-10 days. During this time, avoid strenuous physical activity and take medications as prescribed.
