Beverly Hills Lip Augmentation
“Beverly Hills lips” has recently become the most commonly used term when referring to non-surgical lip augmentation. Non-surgical lip augmentation uses hyaluronic acid-based injectable dermal fillers. It’s indicated at any age, young or old, to treat lips that are thin, deflated, wrinkled, or have lost their contour. The result is enhanced upper and lower lips that are fuller and plumper with a defined lip contour. A variety of injectable fillers work well for lip augmentation. The safest and most ideal products are hyaluronic acid-based, such as Restylane and Juvederm.
Why Beverly Hills Lips?
Although lip augmentation using dermal fillers has been practiced for some time, Beverly Hills lips refer to using a particular technique using a specific combination of dermal fillers. The procedure has zero downtime. Since the lips are highly vascularized, you may experience a bit of swelling, making your lips appear larger and feeling tender for a few days. Kybella
Kybella is the first FDA-approved product that can safely melt away chin fat, also known as submental fat or a “double chin.” Kybella in Washington D.C. is one of the hottest new procedures! Kybella injections offer a safe alternative to other products used in the past to melt body fat, such as animal enzymes. Such products had severe complications and had to be taken off the market after a few months. Kybella is a synthetic product made from deoxycholic acid. It’s very similar to the human gallbladder enzyme, which breaks down fat during digestion.
Liposuction has been and remains a surgical alternative to improving the appearance of severe chin fullness. Kybella offers a safe, non-surgical approach to melting moderate fat in the chin area, an option patients didn’t have before Kybella became FDA-approved.
The product is injected with very small needles into the chin during a short, 15-minute procedure. This method is relatively painless—even patients who dislike needles can receive treatment with little discomfort. The treatment must be repeated four to six times in one-month intervals for best results. Fortunately, the studies with Kybella show very few side effects. The major side effects reported with this product are hematoma (large bruises), edema (swelling), slight pain and discomfort, numbness and tingling (which resolved after few weeks), nodules (small lumps), and itchiness.
