Gretchen Rossi Has Advice for Anyone Getting Microbladed Eyebrows
With time being such a valuable commodity, most women would love to reduce their daily beauty routine by 15 minutes.
Rossi naturally has very light and sparse hair in her eyebrows and was tired of filling and shaping them every morning.
While she had some reservations prior to the treatment, she revealed that she loves her results and couldn’t be happier that she had microblading.
What Are Microbladed Eyebrows?
Microblading uses a pen-like tool that has small blades at the tip to draw individual hairs into the eyebrows.
It’s non-surgical and can semi-permanently fill, shape, and define brows
Make Sure You See a Microblading Expert
First and foremost, make sure you are being treated by a skilled and experience provider.
Gretchen admitted that she did extensive research to find someone that had an excellent technique and could provide her with natural results.
How Is Microblading Performed?
To start, the brows are cleansed, photographed, and stenciled to outline the shape. The area is then dotted with a surgical marker for precise placement of the strokes, and a topical numbing cream is applied for 10-15 minutes.
Then, a curved pen with small blades covers the brow and creates microchannels that absorb ink and produce the appearance of hairs.
Gretchen said that she could barely feel this portion of the procedure and described it as a scraping sensation.
Patients Can Customize the Color, Shape, and Fullness of Their Brows
Brow color was one aspect of microblading that was very important to Gretchen. She wanted to ensure that the shade matched her complexion and selected a custom color that was warm and not too ashy.
In addition, patients can discuss their goals for eyebrow shape and fullness with their provider prior to treatment.
The Benefits of Microbladed Eyebrows
Like Gretchen, many patients are relieved that they no longer have to devote so much of their make-up application to their brows.
They love that they can wake-up every day with perfectly shaped and symmetrical arches and that the results last one-to-three years.
